Oliver So and I have thought up of this website. We both stutter and live half way around the world of each other. I live in the United States and Oliver lives in Sweden. Oliver is a guitarist in the band "Midnight Pleasure" We both want to address the key issue here is that PWS (People who Stutter) need to accept their stuttering. We provide information on obtaining that goal. If you stutter go ahead and register to the site and become a member.
Thanks for visiting the site and I hope you join us and become members of the site!
I wanted to express myself on this website. The reason I created this webiste in the first place was to tell people who stutter (PWS) that if you work on it and ACCEPT YOUR STUTTER which this website is all about, you will have better self confidence about yourself. In my case my stuttering improved over time. I am currently 39 years old. I am currently married to the most attractive woman I ever met! I have 3 wonderful kids! JJ who is 3 months old and Sandy who is 2 years. I also have a 13 year old step son Gabe. I thought I would never have had 2 kids (from me) when I was younger in that fact getting married. But I did!
When I was younger in grade school my stuttering was concidered moderate to severe. Kids at the school picked on me all the time. It was very rough time for me. I had few friends. I do have a twin brother who didn't stutter and was some what outgoing. My brother and I are close. When I was in 5th grade I was transfered to a special education school they called it L.D. (Learning Disabled). I was in L.D. all through high school.
It was not until I was 26 years of age that I accepted my stutter. I told myself that I didn't care what anyone else though of my stuttering. I was going to talk regardless. I DID! I did 2 things that was very important. I accepted my stutter, and gained self confidence. Now it didn't take overnight to achive the fluentcy I have now. However it was a cornerstone. I had to work for it.
I have came this far and am currently doing a radio show about stuttering on blogtalkradio. The address is
